Between the speeds of 45 and 64mph I get, once in a while, a grinding noise for a short period. I also, frequently, get what feels like surging or power breaks or a popping feeling while on the gas. Does not feel like the transmission is slipping, just intermittent surgeing or power cutout. Was not as evident a year ago, took to a shop and was not diagnosed or felt, but now it is getting worse. Had the differential fluid changed, belts and most to all maint. completed. his is the early, old body style, Z71 Tahoe year 2000.
