2000 Chevy Tahoe stalling at idle

will not idle for more than 30 seconds, changed fuel filter about 3000 miles ago and seemed to fix it as it was plugged solid, now it did it again, replaced filter it seemed clean but it will still only idle for about 30 seconds and stalls out. If I rev it up it runs less time.

Hi:
It sounds like a throttle position sensor. Take the vehicle to a nationally recognized parts store and have them scan the computer for trouble codes. Most of these store will do it for free, and it will prevent us from replacing good parts. Also, you may consider having the fuel pump pressure checked. I believe it should be in the area of 45 PSI.
