I have the problem with the security light staying on and the engine will not start. If I wait long enough , (10 min.) sometimes the light will stop blinking and then the engine will start.

There is a problem with the factory security system. To bypass it, you have to do exactly what you described, turn the key on and wait aprox 10 minutes. If you haven't done it already, try a different key. If you have, the only thing I can say is this. THe only place that will have the proper test equipment to diagnose the problem is a dealer.

Let me know if you have other questions.
