When my Tahoe gets up to running temperature, I lose power the more I press the gas pedal down. My mechanic says my catalytic converters are clogged. If they are clogged, why does the engine run fine until it gets to normal running temperature? Also, by stopping and swtiching off for a mniute, all seems fine for a few minutes. Is this the normal sympton of clogged catalytic converters?
