If the shrader valve seal has gone bad on the high side of the A/C system, can it be replaced or do you have to replace the whole hose assembly?

Hello,
The shradder valve should have an O-ring that keeps it sealed. The O-ring can be replaced with a correct type and size O-ring. Keep in mind that there are specific type of O-rings for A/C lines and that is what needs to be used.
Before changing the O-ring you will have to evacuate the A/C system.
