1999 Chevy Tahoe rear axle

Transmission problem
1999 Chevy Tahoe V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 105k miles

I have been trying to trace a NEW complete rear axle. G80, 3.73. Chevrolet no longer supply this as a complete unit. Does anyone know where I can obtain a new replacement axle for my 1999 Tahoe LT 2door, 4wd?

my only suggestion is getting one used or rebuild the one you have. even if you do find one it will cost crazy thousands. you should be able to purchase the posi unit(G80) and the 3.73 gears, this stuff is plentiful. wish i could be of more help
