Engine Performance problem
1999 Chevy Tahoe 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

i brought my truck not even 60days ago my head gasket went out the car dealer said i blowed it my self my truck when i first got it the engine light was on and it was pulling i took the truck to them they said i just needed a full tune up they claim they gave me a full tune up 3 days later i take it back to them they say i blow my head gasket how? how and wht can i say to theses peolple that i didnt blow my head gasket somthin already had to be wrong with it PLEASE HELP!!1

if it was pulling doesn't mean that there was a issue with the head gasket.

did the vehicle used to run fine i mean starting and idling?

whn i got my truck really it didnt neva run great it ran ok i jus need to knw wht or how long can a head gasket go and whn they did the tune up how couldnt they see sumthin else was goin on wit my truck other than the tune up or they knw and jus didnt want to fix it

uhh well hard to say depends on the mechanic. maybe they were doing strictly a tuen up to get most money and just ship the vehicle out and not go over it throughly happens alot. vehicle can run quite a time on a bad head gasket. some for thousands of miles but they eventually give up.

so wht can i do how can i prove it n court im goin to take thm to court try to get my money back but i cant explain wht happen they tryin to make it like i did sumthin wrong

first find out the anti lemon laws in your state and maybe you can be voided of all fees.

due to they didnt touch the headgasket and you cant prove it was their fault. you can only be reimbursted from the work that they did. and screwed up that needed fixing. other part your on your own.
