how can u tell if ur head gasket is broken and how much is it to fix?

Use a radiator pressure tester, see if the leak is the intake manifold gasket...Or do a block test, about 50.00, this will tell you if there are exhaust fumes in the antifreeze. In that case probably the head or head gasket!
