My gas gage does not work and i do not know why

start by checking your fuses if they check out then trace the wires running to the gas gauge for open or short circuits if this is also not the problem then the sensor that reads how much gas is in the tank is not working or the gauge itself is broke check these things if the problem is still around post back and will figure it out
