MY 1999 CHEVY TAHOE STARTED TO JUST SHUT OFF ON ME WHILE RIDING! IT HAS DONE IT TWICE WITH NO ELECTRICAL OR BATTERY PROBLEMS. IT ALSO HAS A VERY STRONG GAS AROMA.

Welcome to the forum. How long since a tune-up? Check for a fuel leak. Use a gage and check for proper fuel pressure. Does the fuel pressure hold after everything is turned off?
