1999 Chevy Tahoe Brake lights

When I push the brake pedal the brake lights flash on then off. The brake switch was replaced and did not fix the problem. Now the truck will not shift out of park and the break light do not work properly.

Seems the replaced switch is faulty as well. Unplug the wire socket and use a jumper wire over the terminals and check the brake lights and test the gear shift. If they work, the switch needs to be replaced.
