my engine tries to die after I drive 2 or 3 miles. Like it is starving for gas. I replaced the fuel pump 10 mo. ago and have heard the whining of the pump all the time now. I replaced the fuel filter and added some Heat to rid the tank of any water. I don't have any check engine lights that come on. So no sensors are failing me to my knowledge. I know thw fuel pressure regulator may be a problem but I can't check the fuel pressure(55 to 60 lbs) without the aide of a pressure tester. Other than bad wires what else is there to check? The Tahoe starts and runs fine the minute you turn off the motor and start it back up again but then 2 or 3 mi. down the road it starts to buck like a bronco if it is getting 3/4 throttle. It has decrease of power as well.
