1998 fuel pump

When I went to start the truck today the fuel pump is not coming on, where do I need to check and how do I go about it before I drop the tank?

Check your fuse for starters if it's good turn it off and reach up under the gas tank jiggle the wires around and see if it will kick on for you. let me know if that works or not.
