Brakes problem
1998 Chevy Tahoe V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

I was wondering if you would have any idea why when I apply the brakes it sounds like a lot of air pressure under the dash and the vehicle chugs, the rpms fluctuate, and the pedel is kinda hard to push?
Sensor, airleak in the system, vacumm leak, elctircal?
I don't know where to look anymore. Fluid is full, no leaking fluid.

It sounds like the power brake booster is bad and leaking vacuum. What you need to do is a vacuum test on it. If the booster is good, it will hold vacuum. If it is bad, it won't. Also, make sure the large vacuum hose going to it is good and not damaged, dry rotted.

Let me know what you find.

Thank you I ended up figuring it out and fixing it. It was the pow brake booster so you were right.
