I am changing the fuel pump on this 98 tahoe. Do I need to change the connector. I have seen this warning on the 99's but not sure on the 98.

Checked relay and fuses. Pump doesn't run. Also the owner wants the pump changed because the sending unit is faulty as well.

I see 2 birds with 1 stone-just make sure its not a connector problem that's affecting both-
