1997 Chevy Tahoe left brake light

why does my left brake/turn signal light bulb keep going out after i replace it? I repalce and it gors out again a minute later.

Hello, are you using the proper bulb? Use a dmm at the bulb socket, take reading with the brake activated, then take a reading with the turn signal activated, they use the same filament, not at the same time. Compare the readings to the other side.

The filament doesn't blow without activating the brake or turn, does it?
