1997 Chevy Tahoe fuel pump

i just installed a brand new fuel pump and took it for a test run it drove fine til i turned it off just to turn it back on and now it wont crank what could be my problem?

Hi, are you saying it cranks good, but, won't start? If so, use a gage and check fuel pressure. Any spark at the plugs?
