When I turn on my heater and it begins to blow warm air I smell an odor that smells like melting wax crayons. I have my cooling system regularly serviced and I have no leaks or unusual usage. My air conditioning quit working a couple of years ago, I don't know if this has any bearing on the problem.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi there,

This could be a number of things, but first i would get a good mould and mildew treatment for the ducting system, there are special treatments for car systems that work well, your spare parts outlet will be able to assist with this.
