I have had to replace the head gaskets in my truck 3 times in the last 60k miles, so that is an average of 20k miles per gaskets. I contacted gm and they refused to give me an answer. Is this normal or could something else be causing thie gaskets to go. Or is gm just making crap parts.

try a different brand of headgaskets, may be getting shotty parts.

also maybe the heads are warped, or its being over torqued when installed.
