Hello,

I'm in the process of changing the fuel filter but I'm not sure if by removing the cap gas tank fully removes the fuel system pressure...can you advice??

Thanks much!

look under the hood and see if there is a pressure relief valve on the fuel line if not remove the fuel pump fuse and start the engine let it run till it dies once it dies crank the engine over for 3 seconds this will relieve all fuel pressure. the engine will run rough when you first replace fuse and crank but should clear up and run fine after a few seconds
