1996 Chevy Tahoe V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

four wheel drive is not working and the push buttons on the dash are not lighting up but once in a while the lights will flash from 2hi and sometimes 4low

Have a helper switch the 4wd buttons while you check for power to the actuator on the transfer case. If there is power, chances are the actuator is bad.
