Hello-
Recently my Tahoe has developed a starting problem? The engine will just not start, will just keep cranking over and over. For me to get it started I have to spray some "starting fluid" down the throttle body, starts right up. Also I read about just turning the key on and off acouple times and it will start this way sometimes also? After the truck starts it runs great. Just had a full tuneup done. Plugs, wires, cap, rotor. Etc. Also new fuel filter and the batteryis only 2 months old. Not sure what to think of this. Can't afford to just keep replacing things till it's fixed. Any suggestions on where to look? Thanks for your help!

Do you hear the fuel pump come on when you turn key to run position for 2secs-If so check fuel pressure make sure its within specs. The reason why its starting when you play with the key is its building pressure, plus when the oil pressure gets to a certain pressure while cranking it will power the fuel pump.

Check the fuel pump relay/oil pressure sending unit if okay could be the computer control of the relay.
