6 month old battery, alternator, plugs and ignition coil. SUV had starter replaced 8 weeks ago, only has 909 miles put on since then. Last week "check engine light" came on after 10 minutes of driving and then sometimes will go off. Yesterday, SUV would not start, just click noise. Has power with no dimming, all accessories and engine lights come on with full power. Is the starter faulty again, solenoid, or something else could be problem? Okay, realize the starter is faulty and will replace, but not sure why the "Service Engine Light" came on after driving for 10 minutes and sometimes would go off and sometimes would stay on? Any ideas why?

Check the battery condition and connections if okay -short out the purple wire to the battery terminal on the solenoid and see if it'll do anything
