I have a 95 tahoe, When you first start the truck, it stutters and sounds sorta between a diesel and a stroker engine just really bogged down and ruff it does this for about the first thirty sec to min. then idles fine but will miss every now in then for the next couple min and after that shes fine until you turn it off and let it cool down. Then everything occurs again the next time you start it. But if you turn it off and start it shortly not letting it cool down it will run perfectly fine. Have not a clue what it could be!

sounds like for sure you have a leaking fuel pressure regulator under the intake manifold causing your problems.
