1995 Chevy Tahoe my truck stalls under power

when i am driving at anytime the truck will stall.I can put it in neutral and start it back up usually. Sometimes I have to pull over and put it in park to start it. It starts up but this continues over & over.The truck is a diesel. What is wrong ?

Sounds like a neutral safty switch problem.
