We added freon to the air conditioner on my Tahoe but I think it is leaking somewhere probably on a hose or fitting. Is there an easy way to find the leak so I can pinpoint it and repair it without having to keep replacing things and ending up spending so much? I have heard there something that has a bright color that you an add that will show the leak. I can't seem to find it at the auto parts stores and the employees there look at me like I have a scew loose. Please help :) Thank you

One of two basic ways to do this.

1.) Charge the system with refrigerant containing a tracer dye, then use an ultraviolet lamp to find the dye at the leak point.

OR

2.) Use an electronic leak detector, commonly called a 'sniffer' to find the leak.
