I am losing power after 45 mph in my 1993 chevy k15. I do smell fuel in the truck. The engine was rebuilt. Any ideas of what it could be and if I can repair it without taking it to a mechanic?

Could be fuel pressure problem, throttle position and manifold absolute pressure sensors-
