I have a 99 Suburban, 140,000 miles, 5.7, that I am replacing the Fuel pump on. No problems except that I can't get the hoses disconnected from the tank. Is there a trick to using the disconnect tool?

Push the hose connector all the way in and push the removal tool into the connector. while holding pressure against the removal tool you should be able to remove the connector easily. Tip... spray some WD 40 into the connection to dissolve any road dirt blocking the internal spring
