Driving down the high way at 65-70 when the car just shut off. instrument lights were on. i pulled over, pulled the plug wire off to check for spark, but no spark. changed the coil and the ignition module, but still no spark. Towed it home and pulled the computer out of my 96 pickup and switch with the burban and still no spark. The computer from the suburban worked in the pickup. What are my other options?

Confirm that the ignition module has voltage to it. If not trace it back from there.

Another place to check is to see if the trigger signal is getting to the module.

Only check voltages with a DOM or D continuity tester so as not to distroy sensitive electrical circuts.
