2006 Chevy Suburban Service 4WD message on DIC

The "service 4WD" is displayed on the DIC and none of the selector buttons seem to work, I'm wundering if there is anything I can check before bringing it in to a dealer?

I will need to know the code before I can assist you, go to local parts store and have them pull them, and get back to me, but I will tell you this. It has to do with your ABS system.
