2005 Chevy Suburban air flow

Air Conditioning problem
2005 Chevy Suburban 49000 miles

When I turn the dial to 5 no air blows. Air conditioner works fine 1-4.

Check the blower motor resistor high control.

Is this motor located under the dash on the passenger side?
Would this be something that just needs to switched on or something that needs to be replaced?

Es the resistor is on the a/c heater plenum near the blower motor. It is probably the bad part, If there is power at the connector to the resistor, but not at the blower in high.

How do I check if it is receiving power? I don't want to have to take my car in. Is the replacement part what is shown in the diagram?

It will look like this picture, and you test with a voltmeter, each setting will give different voltage at the resistor. If that works, the switch is OK replace the resistor.
