Electrical problem
2005 Chevy Suburban V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

I,m getting a "Service air bag" message in the odometer readout. It makes no difference if some one is in the seats or not.

Also i've heard a clunging sound right after I start up the vehicle. It seems like it happens right after I release the ignition key upon start up. Could this be coming from the starter.

for the air bag light check the relay/fuse and if it is ok then you will need to change the clockspring under the steering wheel as for the clunk check to make sure the starer is tight and check the motor mounts and trans mounts also the exhaust make sure all are tight
