When I first begin accelerating, I hear a sound similar to when we used to put a card in our bike spokes to hear the clicking noise. After I get up to about 15-20 mph, it stops. Now this morning, when I reversed out of the driveway and went to put the car in drive, it made a "clunk" noise. I am wondering if it's an axle problem.

Have the universal joints checked on the driveshaft.
