I am having trouble removing the boot from the spark plug. I purchased the vehicle last year and assume that the plugs are original. Should it be difficult to remove the boot? They also have a metal heat shield around the boot. Does this come off with the boot?

Push the metal part to the engine, this exposes more of the rubber boot, twist to break the seal to plug, and pull off, metal will follow. I kinda shake a bit till they come off...sounds a bit odd eh?
