2003 Chevy Suburban loud noise

2003 CHEVROLET SUBURBAN

Today when I left my house, as I accelerated my truck made a loud noise. My kids said my truck sounded like a motorcycle. What could this be and is it safe to drive 20min. to the repair shop?

If all fluid levels are good and the gauges are reading ok, no warning lights, I would drive it to a shop
