2003 Chevy Suburban Is this a fuel filter problem

2003 Chevy Suburban V8 Four Wheel Drive 82,000 miles

Tried to start my suburban the other day and it wouldn't start. After kicking the gas tank it started right up. Now it may or may not start without the kick. Is this a filter problem, a pump problem or something else?
