2002 Chevy Suburban shocks

2002 CHEVROLET SUBURBAN

I have "autoride" on my suburban, the shop says I have to use the same type to replace the shot ones. They are about $450.00 each. I am about to be laid off and can not afford this repair job.

Can I replace these crazy expensive shocks with regular shocks??

yes you can, you wont have the "autoride" anymore you may have to have them disable the whole system.
