2002 Chevy Suburban rear grinding noise

2002 Chevy Suburban V8 Four Wheel Drive 130000 miles

I have a grinding noise that I think is the rear bearings. I have replaced the caliper, brakes and rotor as it was warped, Apparently the caliper was actually grinding on one side of the rotor hub. I noticed a split at the end of the bearing and grease that was all over everything. I reinstalled all the above and again the same results. I have never worked on this vehicle before as we just bought this one 6 mnths earlier and I am not sure if this is the problem or could it be and axl issue.

If the axle seal is leaking, then it could be due to the bearing letting the axle move too much. The axle/axles will need to be removed from the rear end to verify if that is the problem.
