I have a grinding noise that i think is the rear bearings. I have replaced the caliper, brakes and rotor as it was warped, Apparently the caliper was actually grinding on one side of the rotor hub. I noticed a split at the end of the bearing and grease that was all over everything. I reinstalled all the above and again the same results. I have never worked on this vehicle before as we just bought this one 6 mnths earlier and I am not sure if this is the problem or could it be and axl issue.

If the axle seal is leaking , then it could be due to the bearing letting the axle move too much. The axle/axles will need to be removed from the rear end to verify if that is the problem.
