2001 Chevy Suburban seats

The seat controls and heated seat function works intermittently; mostly does not work. There seems to be a connection with which driver key is used to start the engine; however, it is not consistent. I suspect a poor electrical connection. Where do I look?

With it working at times i WOULD check the connections under the seat itself. With the movement of the seat the connection could have come loose. make sure the connections are tight.
