2001 Chevy Suburban oil change

The oil was changed 3 weeks ago. Today the check oil level light came on. I checked oil level and it was low. What could be the problem. This has happened once before.

Check for any obvious leaks, and monitor for any signs of oil burning, these are the only way you can loose oil.
