While driving engine seems to loose fuel and turns off. We have changed fuel pump x3, fuel filter, and relay and is still dying. Before the engine would turn off and would be able to restart, now the engine turns off and will not start till 3-4 hours later. What may be causing this??? HELP!!!!!

When it shuts down, is it still getting fuel and spark? Has the check engine light come on?

Let me know.

My suburban has been doing the same thing. it was doing it intermitantly and i thought it was my fuel pump so i changed that. it still does it. but i noticed this time that when i turn the key the dash lights dont always come on (warning lites: check engine abs etc) and i dont hear the fuel pump prime. when the dash lites do come on the fuel will prime and the car will start
