2001 Chevy Suburban doorlocks lock automatically, remote no

2001 CHEVROLET SUBURBAN

Drove car and out of nowhere locks locked. Could not open locks with remote any longer, also could not open. Even the indoor switch does not lock/unlock doors, now have to manually lock door, what is up?
Also do hear clicking under left side in dash.

Have you tried replacing the battery on the remote?
