2000 Chevy Suburban Fuel Gauge

I filled up my suburban this past friday, on monday as i was driving down the road the low fuel light came on and started beeping and within seconds went right back up to full. now i have put 150 miles on the tank of gas and it is still reading full. all other gauges are working correctly.

It sounds like your sending unit in the gas tank is going bad.Mind had the same symptom's and i replace it and works OK now,try replacing your fuel pump and not one from the junkyard.Pep boys Autoparts store have them from around $200 to $250 dollars and that is a carter fuel pump.Hope this helps you.
