Electrical problem
1999 Chevy Suburban V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

Returning home last night both of my tailights suddenly went out. I have checked the fuses and bulbs. There is no power getting to the tailights on either side, but there is to the turnlamps and reverse likes. I am a builder, lol not a mechanic obviously. I understand it is probably wiring underneath? any suggestions where to start?

Check the park lamp fuse, use a testlite, see if the circuit is hot? The tail lites are activated by the head lamp switch. The switch may be ok, you may have to check the wiring circuits at the switch.
