Electrical problem
1999 Chevy Suburban V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

My rear hatch will not open the inside door locks will not work and the center lighter will not work. I can use my remote to lock the doors but the rear hatch will not open with keyless entry nor can I use my key. I have never used my key to open the hatch, -- Now I need to replace my right brake light and turn signal, and the only way to do so is thru the rear hatch.

use the switch in the dash to open the hatch. if still does not work check the fuse. In order to the switch to work the vehicle has to be in park or neutral. enclosed is diagram of circuit
