1999 Chevy Suburban grinding noise while coasting

99 chevy suburban 4wd...grinding/growling noise only when coasting and turning right. Just replaced wheel bearing on driver's front did not help. Mechanic wants us to drive it until it gets worse as they can't figure it out. Is it transfer case or CV joint or other? thanks!

It could be a couple things. It could be the output shaft bearing on the transfer case or the input bearing of the differential.
