1999 Chevy Suburban Brake Lights

When i step on the brake pedal my brake lights (all three) just blink for a second and then they go out even-though i keep stepping on the pedal. What could be the problem???

Inspect and test the turn/hazard switch the bottom brake light circuit go thru there and probably taking out the 3rd one.
