1999 Chevy Suburban 1999 sub fuel pump question

My suburban won't start sometimes other times it will start. The truck will crank without a problem. tech at the parts store tihinks it is the fuel pump relay. I replaced the relay and still somtimes will satrt and run somtimes wont. Do i need to replace the fule pump. don't want to drop teh fuel pump if it isn't the fuel pump an other trouble shooting I can do before changing the fuel pump.

Check the fuel pressure with a fuel pressure tester designed fo your fuel system to rule out the fuel pump

I wanted to thankyou for the help. It was the fuel pump. took me all day unfortunatly to change it but saved my self a lot doing it myself. Like the site and againg thankyou for your help
