Need info on brake system. Brother is driving home to NY and has low brake fluid in front reservoir. He thinks it is for the bake brakes and wants to know if the front will continue to work properly? He had a flat on rear tire and may have damaged the brake line during the tire change

Brakes designed to operate front or back. If one is damaged the other system will work.
