I also have tried to put mine in 4x4 and it dosnt respond.I need to know what in fact controls the switch and the selector lights and why or what to do to get my 4x4 working again.

Ok, the switch is a four button. Being top left 2 hi bottom left auto 4x4, top right four high, bottom right four low. There is a neutral indicator on the left side of the switch also but no buton.

As for what you asked, when I cycle the key. Neu. Indicator is lit and red, and all the others come on yellow, stay on for a second then all but the four high indicator go out. The four high indicator stays lit, if I try to select another button it blinks a few times then four high stays lit and the other goes out. As for the fuse it was the one that said T CASE that was blown. Again thank you Jim for your expertise and your time, Sincerely Big Todd
